Our shop offers customers a professionally located, full service clock shop with a large on-site repair and restoration workshop. The shop specializes in the skilled and experienced craftsmanship required for antique clock repair and restoration. A spacious retail floor presents a fine selection of antique clocks from tall clocks, mantle, table and wall clocks for any decor style to choose from. Clock Repair and Restoration Services
Professionally located, full service clock shop provides complete on-site repair and restoration work, the largest in the New England area for antique clocks. Free detailed estimate for clock repair service is provided after evaluation of clock. Services range from repair and restoration of damaged casework, antique mechanisms, pivots, bearings, clock hands, dial restoration, restoration of broken glass, gold leaf application, veneer restoration, reverse glass painting, water and fire damage repair, custom replicating missing parts and veneers, hand milling new gears and pivots, oil and adjustments for maintenance as needed. Warranty
One year warranty on rebuilt antique movement restorations by Hills Antique Clocks. This excludes mainsprings due to overwinding by customer, metal fatigue or customer handling of the movement. Partial jobs and customer requests to attempt to “get the clock going” are not guaranteed. A thorough job is always recommended as is regular maintenance.
Grandfather Clock House Call Services
By appointment only. Contact shop via email to determine service area availability, include year and make of grandfather clock. Specializing in antique and select vintage tall clock repair and restoration. House Call fee is $150.00 within service area. This fee is for the time and travel away from our storefront shop to provide in-home, professional evaluation and service. House Call fee due upon in-home visit and is separate from estimated repair/service cost. A free, detailed repair/restoration estimate is provided after the evaluation of the clock and movement and discussed with customer during in-home evaluation. Payment for repair/restoration work is due upon completion. It is not unusual for repair/restoration cost of a modern grandfather clock to be approximately $350-$1000+ or repair/restoration cost for an antique grandfather clock to be approximately $1000-$3000+. Repair estimates are not provided without professionally inspecting the clock.
